Truck Dispatcher

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher / Transportation Coordinator to join our team in a direct-hire capacity. This position is responsible for coordinating freight movements, dispatching drivers, and ensuring efficient daily operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Driver check-in and communication

Organize and coordinate daily pickups

Post and manage available loads

Route planning and scheduling

Dispatch drivers and monitor load progress

Enter orders into the system accurately

Communicate and update operations on any load delays, issues, or deviations

Ensure timely and efficient freight movement while providing excellent customer service

Schedule:

Hours will vary depending on the freight division assigned:

Local Freight: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Regional Freight: 7:30 AM – 7:30 PMOTR Freight: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PMShifts are typically 10–11 hours per day.

Additional Information:

Employees should bring their lunch daily, as there is generally limited opportunity to leave the facility during the workday.

Drayage experience is a plus.

Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.

Compensation:

Salary in the mid-$40,000 range, depending on experience and qualifications.
