Transportation Specialist Eastside Transportation

$18.00-$20.00 per hour
Part-Time

Eastside Transportation is a trusted provider of limousine, shuttle, and executive ground transportation services throughout the Upstate. We serve corporate clients, universities, airports, and private customers with a commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
We are seeking a dependable, organized Dispatcher to join our operations team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, communicating with customers and drivers, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming customer calls professionally and courteously
- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on trip assignments and availability
- Monitor trips and communicate updates with drivers throughout the day
- Respond to customer emails and confirm reservations
- Process customer payments accurately
- Enter reservation and trip information into dispatch software
- Assist with daily operational tasks as assigned
- Provide excellent customer service while resolving scheduling issues
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous dispatch, transportation, logistics, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Comfortable learning and using dispatch and reservation software
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
