Position

Description:

Palmetto Corp is seeking a Dump Truck Driver who will transport and dump loose materials such as sand, gravel, crushed rock, coal, and paving materials. This candidate will be responsible for the following while having a strong focus on safety.

Duties/Responsibilities:

* Adhere to all Palmetto Corp. Safety guidelines.

* Perform daily DOT Pre/Post Trip Inspections.

* Maintain detailed logs on the substance(s) being hauled and their weight.

* Must handle all paperwork handed to them throughout the day.

* Follow detailed instructions given by Central Dispatch.

* Fasten chains or binders to secure load on trailer during transit.

* Load, unload or assist in loading and unloading of truck.

* Must have the ability to operate the vehicle safely in traffic situations and follow policies and procedures of Palmetto Corp.

* Must be able to lift 20lbs or more

* Perform other duties as assigned.

* Must be able to work overtime, nights and/or weekends (if needed).
