Warehouse Lead​/Forklift Operator

$18 - $22 /per hr

• Operational Leadership:
  Work unsupervised to manage the nightly flow of the warehouse, ensuring all tasks are completed before the morning shift arrives.
• Material Handling:
  Safely load and unload trailers, and stage items using a forklift; maintain a certified forklift driver license at all times.
• System Management:
  Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) via scanners and notepads to track movement and maintain accurate monthly inventory.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Manage all Bills of Lading (BOLs) and associated shipping/receiving paperwork with meticulous attention to detail.
• Planning & Staging:
  Organize the warehouse floor and dock areas through strategic planning and staging of materials for upcoming production or shipments.
• Communication:
  Identify and communicate any discrepancies or operational issues immediately to Operations and Management teams.
• Facility Maintenance:
  Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and safety is maintained across the warehouse and dock areas.

• Required Experience:
  
  3+ years of experience as a Warehouse Lead or Supervisor with heavy Forklift (FL) operation.
• Certification & Licensing:
  Must have a certified forklift driver license and a valid driver’s license.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Experience operating scanners, notepads, and WMS software for inventory tracking.
• Physical Capability:
  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of an 11-hour shift.
• Dependability:
  Proven track record of reliability; must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet production goals.
• Leadership Traits:
  Strong ability to work independently, troubleshoot issues, and take initiative as a self-starter.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $18.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
