Concierge Manager - Inter Continental Grenada

Opening Q4 2026, this stunning resort will offer 120 thoughtfully designed guest rooms and suites, complemented by a collection of exceptional restaurants and bars, a world‑class spa, state‑of‑the‑art fitness center, and a striking pool and beach club. With panoramic views overlooking La Sagesse Bay, this resort will offer expansive indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, seamlessly combining sophisticated luxury with the island’s natural beauty.

Location:

Grenada. This position is not eligible for remote work.

JOB OVERVIEW

Lead the coordination of any guests’ needs, special requests, and inquiries to ensure superior service and value for our guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the day‑to‑day activities of the concierge desk; schedule employees to ensure proper coverage and assist with training of all concierge staff.
  • Ensure all staff is properly trained on service expectations, hotel facilities and services, local directions, safety procedures, etc., and has the tools to effectively carry out their job functions.
  • Collect and provide comprehensive information and coordinate guest requests regarding hotel services, sporting events, places of interest, restaurants, theater, airline, transportation tickets, limousine rentals, sightseeing tours, and any other information of interest. Handle reservations and obtain/issue tickets where applicable.
  • Provide guest assistance with florists, couriers, mail services, rental of small business machines, international calls, etc.
  • Respond appropriately to guest concerns or complaints in a timely manner; communicate any outstanding requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow‑up.
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. Be aware and prepare for all in‑house group meetings and VIP arrivals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, such as assisting the bell stand, providing luggage assistance, and ensuring the lobby and concierge area’s appearance reflect highly on the hotel and company.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or equivalent plus at least two years experience as a concierge or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Some college and knowledge of locale preferred. Must speak fluent English; other languages desirable.

  • Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Handling objects such as phone, computer keyboard.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and third parties.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities are used often.
  • Reading, writing, and math abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, recording guest requests, and computing estimates for events or activities.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
