OEM Setup & Operate - Tubing (Hairpin Bender) 2nd Shift

Operator Setup and operate various equipment used in bending, drilling, sawing, or forming copper parts, making adjustments necessary to comply with drawings, quality and methods procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with others and be self‑motivated to maximize production.
- Read and understand blueprints.
- Operate and read all measuring devices.
- Setup and operate various equipment used in bending, drilling, sawing and forming parts.
- Stand constantly, walk occasionally, bend frequently, squat occasionally, and reach forward frequently; these motions are sustained and repetitive.
- Maintain good safety habits; safety glasses are required at all times. Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. or more with assistance and use proper body techniques when performing floor, knee, or waist lifts.
- Perform other jobs in the cell as needed.
- Read and interpret complicated shop drawings.
- Strong mechanical background and ability to use simple math with decimals and fractions.
- Must wear safety protective equipment at all times.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
