Position Description

An Assembler (Brazer) Technician is responsible for utilizing prints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams to assemble products on the production line. The position also requires assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems. Assemblers are expected to adhere to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Using various manual and powered hand tools to assemble units according to customer specifications.
  • Perform brazing and soldering of copper, brass, and other metal components in the fabrication of indoor assemblies.
  • Perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuit per print requirements.
  • Perform high‑voltage, 3‑phase wiring of the electrical system.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assemblies.
  • Read blueprints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams to build or modify units.
  • Ensure completion of quality and production checklists/processes.
  • Use a computer to access and enter information, including Windows‑based and CAD platforms.
  • Keep the work area neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks when required.
Required Education & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Production experience in a make‑to‑order assembly role preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, assembly checks, and CAD models to meet production specifications preferred.
