GC Final Assembler A
Perform various tasks per group leader instruction to assemble coils in compliance to dimensional drawing, safety requirements and quality methods and procedures. This position requires the ability to operate equipment, setup equipment, identify and locate required tooling and ensure that all work is correct. This position also requires the ability to make arithmetic calculations, read blue prints, understand a bill of material and use measuring devices.
Ability to use equipment, this would include any equipment in assigned area, such as impact guns, pop-rivet guns and any other related equipment necessary to the position. Operators will be required to pull parts for next order, set up sheet metal, install fins and lace tubes per the drawing. This position will assist in training personnel when required. Requires ability to make mathematic calculations, comprehend decimals and read blue prints.
Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues. Must be able to read blue prints. Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control. Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required. This job requires multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
This position requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation. Must be able to work any hours required. This list is not all inclusive and other duties may be assigned as necessary.
