Has strong knowledge of processes, prints and procedures, including basic hands-on proficiency in the Coil Build area and other coil manufacturing disciplines and equipment. Assist less experienced operators in setting up and trouble-shooting problems. Able to execute schedule requirements and promote safety in manufacturing procedures.

This position requires the ability to operate equipment, set up equipment, identify and locate required tooling, and ensure that all work is correct. It also requires the ability to perform arithmetic calculations, read blueprints, understand a bill of materials, and use measuring devices. Ability to operate equipment in the assigned area, such as impact guns, pop-rivet guns, and other related tools.

Operators will be required to pull parts for the next order, set up sheet metal, install fins, and lace tubes per the drawing.

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations, understand decimals, and read blueprints. Must be able to correct tool wear and report issues.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to make basic adjustments to equipment to keep the process in control.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. Majority of the position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.
• Multi-tasking to keep things progressing.
• Mental and visual alertness and self-motivation.
• Must be able to work any hours required.
• Assist in personnel training as required.
