EOLT Test Technician-Chillers
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented End-of-Line Airedale Chiller Test Technician to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of air-cooled and water-cooled chillers before they leave the production line. The technician will be responsible for conducting final system tests, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive end-of-line testing on Airedale chillers, including pressure, temperature, electrical, and refrigerant system checks.
- Verify operational performance against engineering specifications and industry regulations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration system issues, performing necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Ensure all chillers meet quality and safety standards before shipment.
- Accurately document test results, findings, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues and implement improvements.
- Use testing instruments such as pressure gauges, multimeters, thermometers, and refrigerant analyzers.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
Required Education &
Qualifications:
- Technical
Education:
Diploma or degree in HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or relevant experience). - Experience:
Previous experience in chiller testing, HVAC systems, or refrigeration preferred. - Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical circuits, and mechanical components. - Problem-Solving
Skills:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical faults effectively. - Attention to Detail:
Strong focus on accuracy and quality control. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift moderate weights, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment. - Certifications (Preferred): EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification, Electrical Safety Training, or equivalent. (608, Universal)
