• Average weekly pay: $1,500 (based on a typical 5-day schedule, paid by practical miles)
• Additional pay: stop pay, layover pay, breakdown pay, detention pay, and per diem
• No cap referral bonuses when you help grow the Averitt team

Routes, Freight and Equipment

• Regional routes covering primarily South and Midwest
• 100% no-touch freight
• Modern tractors averaging 2.4 years old for a safe and comfortable driving experience
• Access to private parking, onsite fueling, truck washes, showers, and lounge areas at 80+ Averitt locations

Home Time and Schedule

• Most drivers run a 5-day schedule with weekly home time
• 96% of 5-day drivers are home by noon on Saturdays, averaging 48+ hours at home weekly

Essential Job Functions:

• Open and close trailer doors (requires up to 46 lbs of force)
• Hook and unhook trailers (requires up to 90 lbs of force)
• Load, unload, or shift freight as needed (requires up to 54 lbs of force)
• Perform accurate freight counts and complete fuel tickets
• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Enter and exit commercial vehicles and trailers (from ground level)
• Drive for extended periods and sit upright for long durations
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
