Worksource Oregon is partnering with an assisted living and memory care community in the Portland, OR area whose mission is to create a better life for their residents, families, employees, and partners.

JOB DUTIES
  • Perform accounting and bookkeeping transactions.
  • Maintain all accounts.
  • Keep accurate financial records of rent receipts, petty cash disbursements, miscellaneous income and expenditures.
  • Write and mail vendor checks on schedule.
  • Ensure that all rent is collected by no later than the tenth of each month, receipt rent payments and deposit monies in the bank.
  • Provide Management Company with all the necessary reports on time and as specified in policy.
  • Supervise petty cash according to policy.
  • Answer inquiries on resident billings.
  • Develop and maintain organized and accurate files as specified by Company policy.
  • Maintain professional attitude when dealing with residents, staff, visitors, vendors, and the public.
  • Complete accounting research for rent raise impact, as required by Management (i.e. habitually late payers, partial payers, and other indicators).
  • Work closely with Management to keep them informed as to budget, bills pending, etc.
  • Provide professional telephone support.
  • Attend all company in-services.
  • Prepare staff payroll.
  • Audit SAIF reports for proper placement.
  • Assist employees with enrollment of insurance and audit for eligibility.
  • Assist employees with enrollment in company's simple plan and keep all records as required by State and Federal agencies.
  • Maintain profession appearance both with self and office.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 2 years experience in Bookkeeping, HR and/or Office Management
