Dealer Sales Manager – Remote

Location:

Portland, OR – 60% travel required

As a Dealer Sales Manager you will be part of our Independent Retail team working as a remote employee.

Key responsibilities include:

• Grow, develop and drive sales within a specific region or market
• Manage dealer inventories to ensure appropriate category growth by market and increase market penetration in underdeveloped markets
• Execute new dealer prospecting, complete all paperwork, onboarding and training
• Attend meetings and shows including national sales training, dealer convention, test drive events and regional meetings
• Handle parts lookup, reorders, pricing issues
• Service: work with dealers to resolve service issues, locate service bulletins, handle returns
• Warranty: follow up on denied claims and work with dealers on non-traditional warranties

You are eager to learn and grow and thrive in a dynamic environment. You are comfortable traveling 50–60% of the time and handling equipment over a trailer. The following qualifications are desired:

• Field-based employee; 20–60% travel required
• Comfortable hauling equipment; responsible for DOT compliance where applicable
• 4‑year degree preferred or equivalent experience and education
• 5+ years of successful performance selling into an Independent Retail Channel
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
