Estimator, Construction, Building & Residential Construction

We are looking for a detailed, accurate and reliable Estimator to drive profitable business growth. The right candidate will gather all pertinent information and data needed to provide complete, profitable and timely estimating with desired margins. It is important to build and maintain key relationships with subcontractors and partners which are critical to achieving desired outcomes of the Estimating Dept.

• Salary dependent upon experience.

• Proactive in completingestimates on-time (multiple estimates per week)
• Accurately estimate project costs and timelines
• Take offs and software based estimation (Heavy Bids and Agtech)
• Communicate project details and expectations to the Foreman and Project Team
• Ability to ask the right questions and gather the correct information
• Prioritize responsibilities in order to manage several projects simultaneously
• Must be flexible to customer requests
• Occasionally walk job sites

• Previous experience in the excavation or civil construction industry is required
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans
• Ability to operate Heavy Bids and Agtek software preferred
• Strong work ethic, willing to work long days when needed
• Demonstrate positive attitude and being a problem solver
• Task and deadline-driven, self motivated and organized
