Oversees the implementation and maintenance of environmental health and safety management systems

Emphasizes accountability around safety policies and decisions

Aids in the development and implementation of project regional and corporate safety strategy company wide

Works closely with project leadership to create a safe working environment

Instrumental in training the companys employees in safety related issues and techniques

Qualifications High School Diploma

GED or two year degree in occupational safety environmental safety and health health management or related field preferred

Minimum 5 years construction experience and 3 years of safety experience on a construction site Ability to recognize hazardous situations and implement corrective measures as needed
