Locum Occupational Medicine / Urgent Care Provider (Physician / NP / PA)

Position Type: Locum Tenens (Full-Time)

An outpatient clinic in Multnomah County, OR is seeking a Locum Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to provide Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care services. The provider will manage scheduled and walk‑in patients, including work injuries, urgent care needs, and employment-related physical exams.

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Full‑time weekday coverage

• Manage work‑related injuries and occupational health cases
• Evaluate urgent care patients
• Perform employment physicals, including:
  • Pre‑placement exams
  • DOT/CDL physicals (required)
• Conduct in‑office procedures within scope
• Communicate with employers regarding work status and restrictions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Active DOT Certification (must be completed before first shift)
• Ability to practice autonomously
• Physicians:
  Board‑certified in primary care or related field
• NP/PA:
  Certified and graduate of accredited program
• Active Oregon state license
• Active DEA number
• Minimum 1 year of procedural experience

• Occupational Medicine experience
• Urgent Care experience

• 2‑Step TB Test
• Background check
• Drug screen
• Updated CV
• Malpractice history
• 5‑year work history
• Reference checks
• E‑prescribe signature capture

Providers must be certified through the FMCSA NRCME prior to their first shift to perform DOT/CDL exams.
