About the RoleProject Scheduler – Gresham, Oregon. Support project work on wastewater projects.
Essential Functions- Develop accurate schedules using industry best practices and insights from project team members.
- Update project schedules per company procedures and best practices, communicate results, and suggest actions when necessary.
- Review project changes for schedule impact and assist in preparing change notices as required by contract.
- Examine project schedules for compliance with company procedures, contract requirements, and industry best practices; recommend corrective action when necessary.
- Prepare monthly schedule reports for project and management use.
- Provide schedule guidance to schedule software users as needed.
- Work to ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow employees by following health and safety guidelines and policies.
- Bachelor of Science or higher university degree in Engineering, construction management, or a related field; equivalent experience, skills, and training may substitute.
- 6-10 years of project scheduling experience covering baseline schedule development, subcontractor schedule integration, schedule updating, progress analysis, and compliance processes and audits.
- Knowledge of general construction practices and sequences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other normal business applications.
- Excellent proficiency in Primavera scheduling software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with customer-facing experience.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 50%.
- Experience with project planning.
- Industrial wastewater and high-tech manufacturing experience.
- Working knowledge of other scheduling software (MS Project, NetPoint, etc.).
- Earned Value Management experience on self-perform projects.
- Experience with schedule analytic software (Smart
PM, Acumen Fuse, etc.). - Experience with 4D/BIM Synchro software.
- Professional Scheduler Certification from PMI (PMI-SP) or AACE (PSP).
