Senior Engineer -Process; Etch

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a robust technical background for process characterization, optimization, and sustaining effort in the dry etch area. The role involves the use of design of experiments and statistical process control to support technology transfer, yield improvement, and cost reduction.

• Process development and characterization around the 110nm technology node to facilitate transfer of new technologies and sustain newly released production nodes
• Drive continuous improvements in product quality, wafer yield, process stability, and cost reduction
• Develop solutions to arising manufacturing challenges using formal education, experience, and industry problem‑solving tools to prevent recurrence
• Optimize final product electrical para metrics, expand process tool availability, qualify newly purchased tools, and expand processes across new platforms

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent
• 5-7.5 years of dry etch experience, with high preference for previous Lam Poly, AMAT DPS Metal, or TEL DRM ownership
• Experience with design of experiments (DOE) principles and process characterization in a manufacturing environment
• In‑depth knowledge of post-etch solvent or other clean strategies is advantageous
• Experience using statistical data software (e.g., JMP) and rudimentary scripting skills is a bonus
• Experience using fault detection and control software and some semiconductor process integration familiarity
• Direct technology transfer experience is a plus

• Able to lift approximately 25 lbs, push and pull approximately 60 lbs; carry 15 lbs
• Must be able to perform activities that include climbing, bending at waist, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, crawling, handling, feeling, hearing, talking, seeing; and work in a safety‑sensitive position
• Travel: 0%-25%
