Computer Aided Design Engineer

Work Hours: Must be able to work PST hours

Hybrid Requirement: Local candidates will be expected to work onsite 1 day per week for occasional design reviews.

Join a fast-paced quantum computing hardware team working on a wide variety of projects involving mechanical components and systems. The role requires close collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines and the ability to manage several CAD projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong 2D and 3D CAD skills, with experience designing mechanical components and systems.
• Strong proficiency with Solid Works and/or Creo for mechanical component and system design.
• Experience collaborating with other engineering disciplines, including PCB layout, electrical design, and system integration
  , to develop requirements for mechanical components and systems.
• Detailed knowledge and experience creating mechanical drawings and related documentation for manufacturing mechanical components.
• Strong time-management and project-management skills
  , with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent CAD projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline

• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
  .
• At least 2.5 years of relevant professional experience
  .

• Strong hands-on experience with Solid Works and/or Creo
  .
• Demonstrated experience creating detailed mechanical drawings, CAD documentation, and manufacturing documentation for mechanical components.
• Ability to translate system and cross-functional engineering requirements into manufacturable mechanical designs.
