Wealth Management Post Underwriter
The Wealth Management Post Underwriter is responsible for the accurate preparation, review, and processing of Wealth Management loan documentation in accordance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. This position ensures the integrity and compliance of all WM loan files by verifying supporting documentation including collateral, trusts, vesting, and ownership along with researching and resolving discrepancies and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
The role requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to maintaining the Bank's risk management standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in business, finance, or related field, equivalent professional experience considered
- Two to three or more years of experience in loan documentation, loan operations or related banking functions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of loan documentation requirements, including collateral, vesting, and ownership structures
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable banking regulations, policies, and compliance standards
- Exceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement in identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Proficiency in banking systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a regulated, fast-paced environment
Location expectations:
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
