Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna)

ABOUT NEHALEM VALLEY CARE CENTER

We are an established skilled nursing facility serving multiple communities along the Oregon Coast. Our services span the full continuum of care - from short-term rehabilitation to long-term nursing, Alzheimer's, and hospice care. YOUR

ROLE

As a CNA/Caregiver, you are the most visible and consistent presence in our residents' lives - their trusted, friendly face each day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring and recording vital signs
  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living: dressing, grooming, bathing, feeding, and toileting
  • Supporting safe transfers, positioning, and range of motion exercises
  • Providing medication reminders
  • Delivering individualized physical, psychological, and social support
  • Upholding each resident's dignity, comfort, and quality of life

This is a highly hands‑on role that requires flexibility, compassion, and a genuine commitment to resident well‑being.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • Hold a current, active Oregon CNA certification
  • Are in good standing with the Oregon State Board of Nursing
  • Communicate clearly and work well within a team
  • Are dependable, patient, and detail‑oriented
  • Go above and beyond to meet the needs of those in your care
