About the Opportunity
A highly respected behavioral health organization in Portland is seeking compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join a growing Sobering & Deflection Center team.
This is an excellent opportunity for LPNs who are passionate about behavioral health, addiction medicine, crisis intervention, harm reduction, and serving vulnerable populations in a meaningful, community-focused environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide direct nursing care within a sobering and behavioral health stabilization environment
- Complete patient assessments, medication administration, and clinical documentation
- Support individuals experiencing intoxication, substance use disorders, mental health crises, and co-occurring conditions
- Monitor patient safety, withdrawal symptoms, and stabilization progress
- Collaborate closely with RNs, behavioral health teams, providers, case managers, and community resources
- Assist with care coordination, referrals, and discharge planning
- Help maintain a safe, trauma-informed, recovery-focused environment
Qualifications
- Active LPN license (Oregon)
- Ability to work a consistent 12-hour day or night schedule
- Experience or interest in behavioral health, detox, addiction medicine, crisis stabilization, ER, corrections, or acute care preferred
- Passion for community-focused behavioral health and patient advocacy
