Job ResponsibilitiesThe Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physician orders, using a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment. The technologist takes into account the individual patient’s unique and/or age‑related needs, utilises clinical knowledge and judgment for proper positioning, radiation dose calibration, and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high‑quality images. All examinations are performed with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator, following ALARA principles.
Qualifications- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Oregon Radiographer License or Oregon Radiographer Temporary License upon hire.
- National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 180 days of hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association on hire.
- New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire.
Base pay: $36.99–$57.44 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
