Position Overview:

The Child & Family Clinical Supervisor provides clinical leadership and administrative supervision for Child & Family Behavioral Health Staff. This position supports therapists, counselors, interns, and other assigned clinical staff through clinical supervision, consultation, coaching, and professional development to promote high-quality, culturally responsive behavioral health services. The Clinical Supervisor supports clinical excellence through quality assurance, documentation oversight, and evidence-based practice while maintaining a small clinical caseload as needed.

This position works collaboratively with the Child & Family Manager to implement program goals and ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services.

What you will do:

  • Provide clinical leadership, consultation, coaching, and administrative supervision to therapists, counselors, interns, and other assigned clinical staff.
  • Provide regular individual and group supervision to assigned clinical staff.
  • Coordinate onboarding, orientation, training, and ongoing professional development of clinical staff.
  • Provide culturally responsive clinical consultation and advocacy to support high-quality care for Native American, Alaska Native, and all individuals served by NARA NW.
  • Provide case consultation for complex clinical cases and support staff in ethical decision-making and crisis response.
  • Review treatment plans, clinical documentation, and client records to promote quality, consistency, and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Support implementation of clinical workflows, documentation standards, referral processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitate regular clinical team meetings and participate in agency and community partner meetings.
  • Collaborate with medical, substance use disorder, and multidisciplinary teams to promote coordinated client care.
  • Support implementation of culturally responsive, trauma-informed behavioral health services for children, youth, and families.
  • Promote community outreach and awareness of Child & Family behavioral health services.
  • Participate as a member of interdisciplinary behavioral health and addiction recovery teams.
  • Monitor documentation quality and productivity while supporting staff compliance with agency, licensing, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations of assigned staff.
  • Develop and deliver clinical trainings while supporting ongoing staff education and professional growth.
