Pay Range: $27.64 - $33.99 per hour

Location: East County Health Center: 600 NE 8th St Gresham, OR 97030

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5 pm

This role supports pharmacy operations and patient advocacy by connecting clients to life‑changing programs and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Screen, research, and connect clients to vital health resources and the Drug Assistance Program, translating complex policies into clear guidance for clients and care teams.
• Provide technical assistance to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians while ensuring pharmacy maintenance and prescription processing comply with the State of Oregon Pharmacy Board and 340B regulations.
• Interview clients, research eligibility, and submit documentation for manufacturer assistance and healthcare benefit plans, maintaining detailed case records and ongoing contact with patients and providers.
• Serve as a key point of contact for resolving billing and service issues for clients, medical providers, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist with prescription preparation and pharmacy computer input as needed, including counting, mixing, and labeling medications.
• Perform online billing, troubleshoot third‑party insurance issues, review coverage notes, and handle non‑clinical inquiries.

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a degree, relevant education and experience will be considered.
• Two (2) years of Pharmacy Technician experience, including lead or project experience.
• Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.

• Experience with the 340B Drug Pricing Program.
• Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Manager contracts.
• Relevant transferable skills gained through education, work, military, or other life experience that apply to this position.
