Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Legacy Health-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Portland Area. We are looking for experienced urgent care or emergency room clinicians who treat adult and pediatric patients.

• Treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages, 6 months old and up)
• Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X-rays
• Make diagnoses and prescribe treatments/medications
• Collaborate with a dedicated scribe in our busier centers
• Work in state‑of‑the‑art centers with advanced technology, including an integrated EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with on‑site radiologic technologists, medical assistants, and paramedics for support

• Minimum of 1 year of full‑time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting as an NP or PA
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages)
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays
• Physician Assistants:
  Master’s degree and NCCPA certification
• Nurse Practitioners:
  Master’s degree and appropriate certification (AANC or AANP)
