Opti Staffing is partnering with a well-established precision manufacturing company in the Gresham area that is looking to add an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to their growing team. • Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and machine adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining issues and make necessary corrections
• Keep machines and work areas clean and organized
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet deadlines

• Previous CNC Lathe setup and operation experience
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience using precision measuring instruments
• Ability to hold tight tolerances
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• 2+ years of CNC Lathe machining experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Reliable transportation and attendance
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements
• Commitment to safety and quality

• Experience with Fanuc controls
• Multi-axis machining experience
• Programming or editing experience
• Experience in a job shop or high‑mix manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of GD&T
