Overview
osemi is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Implant) Night Shift at our Gresham, OR site. As an Equipment Maintenance technician at onsemi’s premier 200mm manufacturing facility, the candidate will work in a dynamic team environment maintaining a fleet of semiconductor manufacturing equipment within the Implant process area. The personal performance will directly impact the company’s strategic plan to optimize capacity and factory performance.
AreaEquipment
- Implant:
Vii Sta 3000, Vii Sta 810, Vii Sta HCP, Axcelis GSD, and EPI ASM-2000/2500 equipment.
- Day:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, e/o Saturday 7 PM - 7:06 AM (15% Night Shift Differential)
- Work performed in a cleanroom environment requiring smock, hood, booties, latex gloves, and safety glasses.
- Might require use of an APR (air-purifying respirator).
- Might require occasional use of personal protective equipment including aprons, heat gloves, and full-face masks.
- Requires standing for up to 75% of shift.
- Requires lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
- Might involve work with hazardous gases, chemicals, and voltages up to 1500 V.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment to monitor performance, diagnose root cause, make reliability improvement recommendations.
- Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
- Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair.
- Drive solutions, write maintenance procedures and specifications.
- Perform scheduled tool qualifications.
- Vendor management and coordination.
- Provide leadership to other technicians through training and mentoring.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Associate or technical degree or pursuing one.
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems and controls.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Semiconductor experience.
- Knowledge of the Implant and/or EPI area, process theory and equipment mechanics.
- Strong mechanical skills.
- Ability to recognize deviations from normal operation early.
- Understands and supports the 5S process.
