UpRiver Village helps older adults remain living in their own homes and engaged in their communities as long as possible by providing social activities and extensive volunteer services in Gresham, Troutdale, Fairview and Wood Village.
UpRiver Village member support volunteers will provide an extensive array of services such as, but not limited to:
- Transportation
- Social visits and calls
- Occasional house work
- Occasional yard and garden work
- Home maintenance and minor home repair (handyman services)
- Technology assistance (computers, cell phones, electronic equipment)
- Running errands
- Occasional shopping
- Occasional meal preparation/meal train
- Post‑op or post‑hospital recovery support (pet care, assistance with laundry, etc.)
- Sewing & mending
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this opportunity.
