Urgent Care Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

Legacy Health-GoHealth Urgent Care seeks a Full Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the Portland Area. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality urgent care for both adult and pediatric patients via acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu‑like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections.

• Treat both pediatric and adult patient populations (all ages, 6 months old and up).
• Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.) and provide preliminary reads of EKGs and X‑rays.
• Make diagnoses and prescribe treatments/medications.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated scribe, on‑site Rad Techs, medical assistants, and paramedics.
• Operate in state‑of‑the‑art centers equipped with EPIC EMR.
• Recognize serious conditions and refer patients to the emergency room when necessary.

• Minimum of 1 year of full‑time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting as an NP or PA.
• Proficient with minor procedures and preliminary reads on EKGs and X‑rays.
• Experience treating both pediatric and adult populations (all ages).
• Physician Assistants:
  Master’s degree and NCCPA certification required.
• Nurse Practitioners:
  Master’s degree and AANC or AANP certification required.
