LPN - Gresham

Job Details:

Jogan Health is looking for Licensed Practical Nurse with experience in a Skilled Nursing setting for a Direct Hire Role in Gresham, Oregon.

Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Location: Gresham, OR

Local Pay: Up to $38/hr base upon experience (base pay with additional differential of 1.25 per hour for nights and 1.25 for weekends)

Schedule: Thursday - Saturday (6pm to 6:30am)

Contract Type: Direct Hire

• Plans and manages patient care according to each patient’s needs.
• Interviews patients and records their medical history and physical condition.
• Obtains patient vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
• Provides routine care for patients.
• Observes patients’ health.
• Reviews medical charts.
• Accompanies patients to their rooms.
• Assists physicians and registered nurses.
• Communicates with patients and their families.
• Performs standard diagnostic procedures including EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
• Prepares specimens for lab courier.
• Administers medications.
• Provides wound care.
• Prepares and administers injections and/or enemas.
• Assists with patient comfort.
• Monitors catheters.

• Completion of state approved training program (generally in the form of a diploma, certificate, or associate degree)
• Oregon LPN license (pass NCLEX-PN exam)
• BLS certification
• 1-2 years recent nursing experience
