Job Summary:
The Assistant Director of Health Services (RN) partners with the Director of Health Services to oversee the clinical department of our Assisted Living/Memory Care facility. This position will have a knowledge base of a geriatric population with complex medical needs and be able to provide support to the Health Services staff as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with facility Director of Health Services to ensure resident care needs are met
- Knowledge of and ability to follow policies, procedures, and state regulations
- Provide hands-on nursing care during the course of the day when needed
- Assess the health conditions and needs of the residents upon move-in and when a change of condition indicates assessment and/or as directed by the Director of Health Services
- The Assistant Director of Health Services (RN) will train, supervise, lead, and motivate their team
- Communicate with residents, staff, family members, etc. as needed
- Utilize standard precaution knowledge and infection control measures where required
- Provides on-call guidance as needed by Health Services staff
- Other Duties as Assigned
Requirements:
RN License in the State of practice
