At Burgerville, our Assistant Managers are essential leaders who help create outstanding guest experiences, develop strong teams, and support restaurant performance. This role partners closely with the General Manager to lead daily operations while building a positive workplace culture grounded in our mission:

The Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the restaurant when the General Manager is unavailable and plays a key role in supporting food quality, team development, operational excellence, and community engagement.
Support daily restaurant operations with a focus on quality, hospitality, and team performance
Lead the restaurant in the General Manager's absence
Coach, train, and develop Shift Leads and Crew Members
Help drive sales, labor, food cost, and operational results
Deliver exceptional guest experiences and resolve guest concerns
Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and shift execution
Support local marketing initiatives, community events, and restaurant growth
Build a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture
Strong leadership and communication skills
Passion for hospitality, food quality, and team development
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience coaching and developing others
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
High school diploma or GED required
1–2 years of restaurant leadership experience preferred
