About the Position

Ron Tonkin Hyundai, a trusted dealership serving the Gresham community, is hiring a Parts Counter Associate to join our growing Parts Department in the Portland Metro.

As a Parts Counter Sales Associate, you will support the Service Department, technicians, and customers by ensuring accurate parts recommendations, timely fulfillment, and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced dealership environment. Prior automotive parts experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate who is eager to build a long‑term career with us.

• Assist service technicians and retail customers by identifying, sourcing, and selling automotive parts.
• Accurately look up parts using electronic catalog systems.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stocking and organization of parts.
• Provide excellent customer service at the parts counter and over the phone.
• Coordinate with the Service and Sales departments to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Perform additional duties as needed within the Parts Department.
• Work scheduled Saturday shifts as part of the regular workweek.

• Prior automotive parts or dealership experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Complete a pre‑employment drug screen.
