Specialist – On Field Operations at DICK’S Sporting Goods focuses on delivering a consistent, high‑quality experience for athletes by supporting merchandising, pricing, and product availability.

• Deliver an outstanding athlete experience by proactively engaging athletes to understand their shopping needs and providing accurate information about products and assortment.
• Actively drive sales through product and services recommendations and a deep understanding of athlete needs.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new and existing team members, focusing on best practices, expectational selling skills, and key operational processes.
• Serve as a go‑to expert in designated process categories, ensuring smooth execution and high productivity.
• Demonstrate efficiency and effectiveness in process execution while maintaining an athlete‑first mindset; ensure products are ready for athletes to purchase and athletes are engaged when, where, and how they want.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor set plans, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards.
• Promote and drive customer participation in company programs, such as customer loyalty, warranty sales, and private‑label credit card enrollment.
• Create a store environment where teammates and athletes are always welcome and treated with respect.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention, and standard operating procedures, as well as laws and guidelines of external governing entities.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience.
• Previous retail or customer‑facing experience preferred.
