Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts seeks a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You'll process sales and rental contracts, manage merchandising, maintain product displays, and support store events. You'll collaborate with teachers and school reps, learn product features, and meet sales goals while contributing to a student-focused, inclusive, and music-driven culture with room to grow your retail career.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with instrument, rental, accessory, and lesson selection
• Process sales, rentals, returns, and lesson enrollments accurately
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
• Maintain merchandising standards and organized product displays
• Support inventory receiving, tagging, and stockroom organization
• Coordinate with teachers and school service reps on student needs
• Educate customers on financing, rental terms, and protection plans
• Promote store events, clinics, and lesson programs
• Handle customer issues and returns with a service-focused approach
• Uphold store opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures
