** About the Role
** Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher for a school setting in Griffin, GA. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by implementing specialized instruction, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring compliance with IEP goals and student progress. This is a great fit for both seasoned special education teachers and those new to school-based settings.

** What You’ll Do
*** Provide specialized, IEP-driven instruction across academic, behavioral, and functional domains
* Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with student IEP goals and individual needs
* Assess student progress and maintain accurate data, reports, and compliance documentation
* Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families
* Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to support access to the general curriculum
* Create and maintain a structured, supportive learning environment that promotes positive behavior
* Support students with daily living skills, including toileting, feeding, mobility, and health-related needs as required
* Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for IEP development, timelines, and implementation
** What We’re Looking For
*** Hold appropriate certification in all content areas
* Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from an accredited institution
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* School-based experience preferred, not required
