Entry-Level Engineer – Power Systems & Product Design
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level Engineer to join a growing team in Griffin, GA. This is a unique opportunity to gain end-to-end exposure to product design, manufacturing processes, and real-world engineering applications within the power industry.
In this role, you will develop a deep understanding of power connector design, foundry operations, and machining processes
, while working closely with engineering, sales, and quality teams. From supporting customer applications to creating custom designs and performing product testing, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality engineered solutions.

- Develop 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for product designs and custom components
- Review customer requests and cross-reference part numbers for quoting and production
- Assist in cost estimation for new and custom-designed parts
- Perform mechanical and electrical testing on products and generate detailed reports
- Support customers, sales teams, and agents with technical guidance and product recommendations
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand sand casting, foundry, and machining processes
- Inspect parts and assist Quality Assurance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Design, order, and evaluate patterns for production efficiency and product accuracy
- Contribute to catalog updates and technical documentation
- Uphold and support company safety and quality programs
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships or co-ops welcomed)
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD and/or Autodesk Inventor preferred)
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to analyze technical data and apply engineering principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness and ability to pursue Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Exposure to power engineering, utilities, or substation equipment
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as casting or machining
- Experience supporting customer-facing engineering or applications roles
- Interest in product development and custom engineering solutions
- Strong desire to learn and grow in a hands-on engineering environment
Location: Griffin, GA (Onsite)
Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000 (Direct Hire)
