Electrical Design Engineer
Location:
Griffin, GA
Duration:
Long-Term Contract
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a fast-paced engineering team responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for commercial and industrial power solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Creo Modeling, Teamcenter, and electrical power system design.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/BSEET)
- 8–10 years of professional Electrical Design Engineering experience
- Associate's degree + 12 years of experience accepted
- Master's degree + 6 years of experience accepted
- Internship experience will not be considered
- Creo Modeling (Mandatory)
- Teamcenter
- AutoCAD (Basic to Intermediate)
- 480V and 208/120V AC Power System Design
- Power Distribution
- DC System Design
- Creo Cabling
- Creo Routed Systems Designer (RSD)
- TCP/IP
- J1939
- RS-485
- Standby Power Systems
- Electrical Controls
- Wiring & Harness Design
- Design and develop electrical systems and equipment using Creo.
- Create engineering drawings and electrical documentation.
- Design AC/DC power distribution systems and electrical layouts.
- Review designs for reliability, safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.
- Support product development from concept through manufacturing and commissioning.
- Release engineering drawings through Teamcenter.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, purchasing, and project teams.
- Provide build and commissioning support.
- Participate in design reviews and weekly project status meetings.
- Collaborate with local and international engineering teams.
- Occasionally support shop floor investigations while following PPE requirements.
