Pay Range: $70,000 - $120,000/year+ based on experience
Position Summary:
Seeking a Civil Engineer to support residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial site development projects. This role will be responsible for developing conceptual and detailed site designs, producing construction documents in Civil 3D, coordinating with clients and municipalities, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within applicable design standards. The ideal candidate will have strong site development experience, exceptional Civil 3D skills, and the ability to manage projects while maintaining excellent client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare site development plans and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Design and coordinate grading, drainage, utility, erosion control, and site layout improvements.
- Work directly with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies throughout project development.
- Develop project schedules, monitor project progress, and support quality control efforts.
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to successfully deliver projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3-6+ years of civil engineering or site development experience.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Erosion Control Certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Commitment to quality, customer service, and project success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PE license, EIT certification, FE certification, or ability to obtain licensure.
- Residential land development experience.
- Experience with commercial, mixed-use, industrial, municipal, or utility-related site development projects.
- Strong understanding of grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, and erosion control design.
- Experience interpreting surveys and preparing construction plans.
