Job Summary

At Intellistars ABA, we believe that the best work is done when we can see the positive impact we have on the lives of our clients. As a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) , you will play a crucial role in supporting children with developmental disabilities achieve their behavioral goals and improve their overall quality of life. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect and record data, and educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and interventions.

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour

About the Role

As an RBT, you will be responsible for:

  • Implementing behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
  • Collecting and recording data on client behaviors and progress towards goals
  • Assisting in developing care plans tailored to individual needs
  • Educating clients and families about behavioral strategies and interventions
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborating with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach
  • Providing support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy
Requirements
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children
  • Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively
  • Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families
  • A passion for helping others improve their lives through effective behavioral therapy
  • Spanish Speaking- for this specific case
Work Environment
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
  • Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
