As a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) , you will play a crucial role in supporting children with developmental disabilities achieve their behavioral goals and improve their overall quality of life. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will implement individualized behavior intervention plans, collect and record data, and educate clients and families about behavioral strategies and interventions.
Pay:$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
About the RoleAs an RBT, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA
- Collecting and recording data on client behaviors and progress towards goals
- Assisting in developing care plans tailored to individual needs
- Educating clients and families about behavioral strategies and interventions
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborating with other professionals involved in the client's care to ensure a cohesive approach
- Providing support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and encouraging environment for clients
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in behavioral therapy
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly children
- Strong data collection skills to monitor client progress effectively
- Ability to educate clients and families about behavior management techniques
- Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed medical records and care plans
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate collaboration with team members and families
- A passion for helping others improve their lives through effective behavioral therapy
- Spanish Speaking- for this specific case
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel: 25% (Preferred)
