Job Description
  • Recruit talent into the organization and manage the integration process from identification of need through onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers to identify and define recruiting needs.
  • Source candidates through internal and external postings and/or staffing/recruiting agencies.
  • Work with Temp Agencies to assure staffing and cost needs.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews to determine candidates’ qualifications and conduct post‑interview reviews with the hiring team to make hiring decisions.
  • Prepare and present offer letters to qualified candidates.
  • Conduct pre‑employment checks such as drug screen, background check, e‑verify, and reference checks.
  • Prepare onboarding checklist for all new hires.
  • Conduct new hire 30/60/90 day reviews to gain feedback from newly hired employees and ensure proper integration into the company.
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Deliver new hire orientations and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and filed.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date job postings.
  • Reduce the No Operator downtime by managing an effective hourly recruiting strategy.
  • Prepare payroll for the hourly employees every other week.
  • Verify all employee hours and approvals in Kronos.
  • Process bonuses (Attendance Bonus, Overtime, training incentives, hiring bonus and referral).
  • Process benefit reimbursements (Shoes and glasses).
  • Collaborate regularly with payroll to ensure synchrony among payroll and Human Resources.
  • Monitor vacation time for all employees.
  • Conduct and track all company‑required trainings.
  • Enroll new hires in Time Clock System.
  • Employee engagement and recognition.
  • Support coordination of company events (Holiday Party, potlucks, monthly engagement activities, picnics, etc).
  • Support employee performance management processes.
  • Responsible for attendance tracking and issue disciplinary notices in accordance with the Attendance Policy.
  • Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Assist Shift Supervisor and Managers with employee relations/complaints/terminations and counsel employees.
  • Assist HR Manager and Supervisors with annual performance review.
Compliance
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting comply.
  • Prepare and keep records of personnel transactions and update payroll system such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, leaves of absence and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Presents benefit offerings to all new employees during the new hire orientations.
  • Provide support information to employees related to company benefits.
  • Coordinate employee lockers.
  • Maintain company badge system.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date staffing roster.
  • Monthly reporting of HR KPIs: absenteeism, turnover, training, retention, personal hours, headcount, attendance tracker.
  • Prepare job postings, letters, memos, correspondence, charts, graphs, etc. for the department.
