Responsibilities

- Drive operational performance by minimizing scrap, maximizing high‑quality output, and continuously improving efficiency and waste reduction.
- Manage costs and optimize processes by operating efficiently, focusing on value‑added activities, and consistently meeting production goals.
- Maintain strong controls over inventory, financial processes, and capital spending to ensure accuracy and accountability.
- Continuously improve operations by identifying and implementing upgrades to equipment, processes, and production methods to boost performance.
- Lead and develop the team by guiding managers and supervisors, ensuring they have the tools, direction, and support they need to succeed.
- Own capital projects and equipment reliability by managing projects, preventive maintenance programs, and key performance metrics to keep operations running smoothly.
- Ensure quality and food safety compliance by maintaining ISO and SQF standards while reinforcing strong manufacturing and quality practices.
- Oversee site performance by being accountable for the safe, efficient operation of the Griffin facility.
- Pitch in where needed and take on additional responsibilities as the business requires.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (or a related field).
- 8+ years of manufacturing leadership experience (extruded plastics or blown film preferred).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Proven ability to lead teams in medium to large‑scale operations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational skills.
You’ll create a high‑performing, safety‑first operation where teams are engaged, production goals are consistently met, waste is minimized, and continuous improvement is part of the culture.
