ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Work shift coverage with general repair skills on all production equipment.
  • Document all assigned reports and maintenance work orders (MWOs) for work performed.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, process, and production personnel as needed or directed to solve equipment and production issues.
  • Read and interpret ladder logic, pneumatic, instrumentation, hydraulic, and electrical drawings and manuals (basic level).
  • Use precision measuring, gauging tools and electrical meters (e.g., DMM, AC/DC current clamp‑on, megger).
  • Work with AC and DC motors, starters, PLCs, capacitance & inductive sensors, relays, etc.
  • Install and remove electronic components using soldering and hand tools.
  • Work in and around automated equipment.
  • PLC and ladder logic troubleshooting (no programming experience required).
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of electronic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC issues, e.g., HVAC, process chilled water, heating, automation, extrusion.
  • Identify and understand functionality of PNP, NPN, NO, NC, AC, DC, shielded and non‑shielded signals.
  • Perform routine Planned Maintenance on equipment.
  • Complete all other assignments, general and specific, as directed by Supervisor.
  • Prioritize safety, work safely, follow all plant safety rules and policies, report unsafe conditions, wear proper attire and required PPE.
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Minimum of 4,160 hours as a maintenance electromechanical technician in a manufacturing facility, or demonstrated equivalent skill.
  • Demonstrated abilities to a Electromechanical I and Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Ability to work safely in and around manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Achieve a minimum score of 60 on the most recent hourly performance appraisal.
