What You Will Be Doing:
The Master Scheduler is responsible for the overall management of the production schedule, inventory and correct allocation of material/supplied resources to production team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain production schedules based upon current customer requirements
- Track and report KPI's of production scheduling for on time completion
- Manage production schedule conflicts through cross functional team alignment
- Lead cross functional Production Readiness Reviews in advance of initial production run
- Oversees and maintains the planning schedule in accordance with future customer requirements
- Work with cross functional teams in developing near/ mid / long term plans
- Key role in kickoff meetings for new projects
- Ability to communicate with multiple disciplines
- Utilize dashboards / data to report current and near-term status
- Analyze data, generate reports / presentations to convey large amounts of information
- Other duties as assigned
- Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
- Additional duties as assigned by manager.
To be successful in this position you should have prior inventory and production schedule experience. You should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.
Education/Experience:
- Must have 3 - 5 years industry experience
- Four-year college degree from an accredited institution preferred
- Ability to analyze data, generate reports and presentations
- Effective communication skills
- Demonstrated success optimizing manufacturing and work processes and methods, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to hold teams accountable to meeting commitments and objectives and adhering to policies and procedures
- Managing complex, voluminous and sometimes contradictory information to find strong solutions
- Ability to help develop strategic direction for organization, communicate it effectively to key stakeholders, and implement changes needed to achieve the vision
- Proficiency with Software (Microsoft Office Suite, D365)
- Willingness to learn new technologies and implement them proactively
