Role OverviewThe Maintenance Technician ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted production equipment across the manufacturing operation. This role supports continuous production flow by diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. Success in this position directly impacts product quality, equipment longevity, and overall manufacturing efficiency.
2nd Shift
Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators- Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized machinery and equipment with integrated mechanical and electrical components.
- Use the CMMS to receive and document work orders, parts usage, and maintenance activity.
- Interpret electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic diagrams to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
- Conduct inspections, perform preventive and unscheduled maintenance, and coordinate with vendors for required parts and materials.
- Collaborate with production teams to set, calibrate, and adjust equipment to meet manufacturing specifications.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and prepare technical reports outlining repairs, modifications, and process improvements.
- Promote and adhere to all safety standards to support a safe work environment.
- Safety, Quality, and Production performance aligned with annual company and departmental goals.
- Maintain monthly productivity documented through CMMS hours.
- Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and clutch/brake systems used in industrial equipment.
- Ability to replace timing belts and properly adjust mechanical and electrical timing.
- Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical wiring schematics and diagrams.
- Ability to read, troubleshoot, and make basic modifications to PLC ladder logic.
- Proficiency in installing and running conduit, including EMT, rigid, PVC, and flexible conduit.
- Hands‑on ability to solder copper piping and perform related mechanical repairs.
- Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and the ability to troubleshoot HVAC systems, including refrigerant handling.

- Experience working in fabrication‑heavy environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on overnight shifts.
- Strong sense of urgency and proactive approach to equipment issues.
Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Maintenance and five years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and industrial skills with some PLC and HVAC experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred QualificationsExperience performing detailed failure analyses and recommending equipment improvements.

Hourly Pay & BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00– $34.00 per hour for Maintenance Technician II, plus eligibility for a bonus opportunity with annual payouts distributed in three installments. This range is a good faith estimate of what Hoshizaki America expects to pay for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity.
