Description

We are currently looking for a Item Builder at our Griffin, GA location.

Essential Duties and Tasks:

Create new item records in the ERP/MRP system based on approved requests.
Enter and validate item attributes such as:
Item numbers and descriptions
Units of measure (UOM)
Packaging configurations
Bills of Materials (BOMs)
Routing/operation steps
Cost fields and planning parameters
Update and maintain existing items as changes occur
Work closely with the Master Scheduler to ensure item setups support accurate scheduling and planning.
Verify that all required item data is complete before items are released to production.
Communicate missing information or discrepancies to Planning, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
Back fill the Master Scheduler when needed.
Review item requests for completeness and compliance with company standards.
Audit data regularly to identify duplicates, incorrect fields, or outdated information.
Maintain documentation, logs, or checklists related to item creation.
