Description:

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team.
They ensure patients, families, and significant others receive individualized, high-quality, safe patient care.

The nurse collaborates with patients and significant others for effective care planning.

Demonstrating fiscal responsibility and supporting the retention of healthcare team members is essential.
Participation in performance improvement initiatives is expected.

Professional Development and Initiative
Completion of ongoing competency assessments and mandatory education is required.
The nurse serves as a preceptor or mentor for other professional nurses and staff.

Evidence-Based Practice and Research
Promotion of evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement is essential.
The nurse engages in activities that enhance patient care products.
