Job SummaryConducts routine and non-routine chemical and physical analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Updates and maintains analysis spreadsheets for raw materials, intermediate, and finished products.
Tasks- Conducts routine and non-routine analysis on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data related to quality, identifying trends, and reporting findings to the Quality Manager.
- Creates and maintains Quality Control Analysis procedures.
- Maintains laboratory equipment and laboratory supplies.
- Assists Quality Manager with ISO and Environmental related activities.
- Adheres to all safety procedures and uses all required personal protective equipment.
- Upholds the safety and quality standard of the Company.
- Other duties assigned by management.
- Strong attention to detail: A critical skill for identifying deviations from quality standards.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills:
Essential for analyzing data, identifying root causes of issues, and developing solutions. - Communication and interpersonal skills:
Needed for effective collaboration, training, and reporting. - Proficiency in data analysis and reporting:
Essential for tracking performance and identifying areas for improvement. - Organizational and time management skills:
Important for managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time (>3 hours continuously.)
- Must be able to walk frequently.
- Must be able to bend, reach, squat, stoop, and kneel to floor level frequently.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent of 4+ years' work experience in a Quality Control / Quality Assurance Role
- Previous lab experience preferred but not required
