Safety Specialist
The Safety Specialist will serve as an individual contributor supporting Environmental, Health & Safety initiatives within a manufacturing facility. This role focuses on incident investigations, compliance audits, safety program development, and regulatory adherence, ensuring facility-level compliance and performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and mitigate workplace safety & health hazards
- Ensure regulatory EHS training compliance
- Audit safety programs against company & government standards
- Monitor performance reports and identify safety trends
- Develop and document safety procedures
- Lead/participate in incident investigations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field
- Experience with HOP (Human & Organizational Performance)
- ISO 45001 knowledge/experience
- Strong attention to detail
